PC has two viruses..

Downloaded Spysweeper yesterday, it found them supposedly all was well after they were quaratnined and deleted.Seemed to work fine for the couple hours I used it afterward.

This morning I get the same stupid pop ups and the same "XP Windows" thing trying to download itself again. Guess its not gone.

Which site is the real spybot, anyone? I gotta get rid of this thing. Im not real good with PCs, how can I find where this thing is and how to get rid of it?

this is real and will protect you from these invasion attempts. Just because you got rid of it, without some form of firewall, the little bastards will come right back.

just did spybot, cant find my browser that used to be at the top of my page, did I change a setting?

When you say browser, do you mean the little search bar that is in internet explorer to help you find things? If so, that's your spyware. If it's gone that's a good thing.

PS - I use spybot search & destroy and mozilla firefox instead of IE. My cousin is an IT guy at a big company in Chicago and he put them on my computer. Said they're better, so I believe him.

Thanks for the tips. I saw the same popup that screwed me up yestreday, some wanna be XP Windows registry defender that tries to download itself. It onlu pops up on Ebay As the day has gone by the computer seems to be faster and faster, knock on wood it hasnt acted up. Hopefully it got rid of the bugs.
