On my 92 I checked the codes. I had #25 under the CCM module. Which relay is the courtesy relay.

Right hand side of the instrument panel, you'll have to pull the cover under the glove compt.
The relay next to the center of the IP (next to the radio/ccm) is the fog lamps, the next one to the right is the courtesy relay.

I'd clear the code and see if it comes back first before doing any work.

It wasn't in the stock location. It was under the glove box. After the test it says that circuit 690 is grounded. Is the CCM behind the radio.

Pics in the FSM aren't that great, guess you had to pull the glove box to see it.

What's actually happening with the lites besides the code?

And how did you get the circuit 690 reading.
I don't even see 690 in the FSM but it could be there.

Its an old FSM. It says to jump G and A turn on the ignition. With a test light between terminals 2 and 5. Then when the car cycles between 10.0 and 10.1 note the test light. It stays on, so the manual says repair short to ground in ckt 690.

The code shows as C25 and H25. Current and history. The previous owner had a remote start on the car, so the wiring has been disconnected and not put back proper.

Yea, I just found it.

Both C & H indicates that it's still happening. On the previous page it notes to wiggle the connectors if it's only History.

It does sound like the PO screwed something up, pinched that wire to cause a short. That sucks.

You asked about the CCM, yes behind the radio.

I am going to have to pick this up after work tomorrow. Also the PO had changed everything over to white on the dash. I think that is where the wiring got so messed up.

I was able to get more work in, and found out why code 25 is there.

the wires are cut from the CCM at D12, C12 and D16. From the CCM they were left loose and not capped off. Then from the harness they were all three tied together. I don't know if they did this for the remote start, or if there was an issue before.

It was the shop that the previous owner had taken it to. There are several screws and bolts missing from the dash. Splices have bare wires sticking out. There are three fuses that are too high of a rating, and the theft fuse is missing.

Unbelievable, well actually believable considering half the shops out there suck.
My 92 had a 6 disc cd changer put in, the shop didn't screw anything up but still did a half ass job.

I finished the wiring. Cleared the codes, and received a C12 (On board diagnostics operational; no codes). All interior lights work, and the security light is operating again.

Thanks for your help.
