Hey Bill new member here. Im looking into getting my 89 vette out for some track days or maybe some auto cross in the Reno area. You seem like the guy to talk to. Any info would be great.

Thanks
Don Miller

Hi Don, First, Welcome aboard, the best C4 advice on the web is here.

Everything on AutoX in Reno is here:
http://www.renoscca.org/
I don't run but do go to hang out with the guys once in a while. There's quite a few Vettes running.

Track Days: Well right now, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks. Reno-Fernley is closed at this time. There wasn't enough winter bookings to stay open and some conflicts with the various owners.
A little hope is on the horizon, they may reopen with new management. I'm not holding my breath but the guy who put this out on the web would know if anyone does.
This sucks for me cause I got free track time for workin with the previous management.

BTW, I'm a SCCA licensed driving instructor. I've instructed at RFR since day one (150+ events). I also a licensed Tech Inspector.

I assume you're around town especially being with Martin. I can shoot you my phone number on a PM.
