Good Morning CGs!

Well, only a couple shopping days left! I still have to get my wife some gift certificates for the car wash, but that's it. I'll try to stop tomorrow on my way home from work. Simple task.

How was everyone's weekend? Hopefully safe and enjoyable. Anybody stuck out in that insane snow storm on the East Coast?

I won't be so smug anymore when I talk about how nice the weather is here!! You Snow Belt guys must have sent this crap our way. I live in southern Maryland and of course we get hit the hardest. I have about 24" of snow out there this morning. Damn I hate snow!

I did remove the driver's seat from the Vette and took it down to the upholstery shop on Friday before the snow hit. It needed the side bolster panel replaced already. I had Al Knoch recover these seats about six years ago and I would estimate the seats have about 30k miles of sit time on them. I don't think the leather should have worn through that fast, but its spilled milk now. The car is supposed to be on display at Sport Chevrolet for the month of January and part of February, so I want it to look its best. They have been rotating member's cars each month or so to show off older Corvettes in the showroom along side the new ones. The customers love it.

I hope this snow melts soon so I can get on with Christmas shopping. Yeh I kow, I should have it done already!

We got a little blast of snow last night, looks like maybe an inch, no biggie. The Vikings don't play until tonight, so I guess I have plenty of time to go scrape it off.

Well then, I'm not going to rub it in and say, that we have had beautiful weather here the last 3 days...in the 50's. I'm actually going to get the Vette out today and take it for a drive. Ok I am going to rub it in.
