Both could be power, neither could be.

However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

Looking for any feedback on which tires I should buy. I have a 87 vette with ZR-1 rims. My last set are Sumitomo HTR tires (frt 275/40zr17 r 315/35 zr17) . I wore these out in about 12,000 miles. Maybe I like canyon running to much. shatwatt

I guess the question is what/how are you going to drive your Vette? What do you expect out of your tires? If you are looking for mileage then Sumitomos aren't a good choice. My Falken ZE512's have given me pretty good mileage but I don't really consider them a top notch performance tire (but then again that is not what I am using my Vette for).

You have to ask yourself those questions and answer them frankly and honestly.

with 11" rear rims, you are limited... just a bit of warning, there.

The Goodyear F1 is a great tire, as are the Michelins. Goodrich rocks... the firestones are highly regarded, but I don't like firestone very much. Bridgestone is only marginally better.

I have Toyos, but I don't know if they offer the fat rear tire.

FYI: I am going to hook us up with the Tire Rack shortly - like soon - as in the next few days, I hope!!!

I've had really good performance from my BFGs. I'm very satisfied with them.
