The Spectre 341 Challange is coming up June 25-26. It's been around a long time, used to be called the VC Hillclimb then was called the Ferrari Hillclimb.

Must be street licensed cars w/insurance and driven by the registered owner (no ringers). DOT tires.

http://www.spectre341challenge.com/

Notables: Araon Pfadt (Salt Lake City) will be there but not sure on what he's driving, his race preped Corvettes will be at VIR.

Lou Gigliotti will be flying in from the ALMS race at Mid-Ohio, driving his personnal Corvette ZR1.

Vivid racing is bring an 800 horse twin turbo Porsche (quite possibily the car to win).

Should be wild.

The hand motions of the driver of the 2002 run were impressive. The movements were diliberate and precise with little need for corrections. I liked the fact the he could tell straight by the centering duct tape accessory. Good link.

That video was dizzying.
Ben Cartwright would be awed.

Hoss too, it was only about 4-5 years ago that they closed down the Ponderosa at Lake Tahoe. The whole ranch was there for the tourists, it was where they did all the filming.

My house is inside the Ponderosa's fictional border.

So, my house is about where the "P" is on the map. But, I'm going to the hillclimb anyway.
