they look nice but maybe a little too tall for a standard set up?

Also, no breather on pass side for hose connection to throttle body.

Will I have oiling issues in the valve train because of the height? Is that what you mean?

A hole saw and grommet will fix the breather hose problem.

Thanks Bill,I was wondering if I had messed up.
Actually if you go to their website the covers that are tall are listed as such.

BTW, when cuttion the hole for the PCV grommet, I'd use masking tape to keep the drill bit from walking and messing uo the finish.

Ya, know, lookin' on their site, I'd call them.
The pic is the same pic for their centerbolt valve covers with PCV and filler.

I'd clarify that or ask when they will have the covers with the above.

Non LT1 cernter bolt w/filler.
65-205 - SBC CENTERBOLT FABBED ALUM VALVE COVERS W/ FILL & PCV (65-205)

BTW Canton does make high quality stuff, a lot of racers use their products.

Another thought, the 92s use a vc gasket like the 91's.
93 and up use a different gasket so you need to find out which.
Canton does make gaskets, they have a one piece for LT1s.

I figured it probably has something like the old still gasket and not the groove like my '96 has. I'll try on Monday just to see if they're there. I can always return them if I smell a rat. I really hope they'll work because as you probably know decent covers are few and far between for our Vettes. Besides, they'll look great on those AFR's

I was thinking more about clearance.

Got ya.

I'll just have to wait and see on that one. Other than the alternator I'm hoping there isn't a problem with clearance. I don't believe the wiper motor comes into play on the '96 but I may be wrong on that. We'll see.

If the picture in the link I posted is correct. The Cantons appear to have enough of a notch for the alternator bracket.

Exactly, the Cantons that I ordered have what looks like the same modification Will did to the Morosos done to them.

Unless I'm missing something.........

I do have a question about the breather hole in the drivers side cover.

If I put a breather in there is it going to help with the PCV system or hinder it? Seems to me it would help with the suction from the tb on the other side of the engine.
