For those of you who do celebrate the holiday, who here sends the cards out? On top of that do you include gift cards or photos? Just testing waters to see where you all stand around the nation. At our house we include pictures but the majority of the cards we get dont contain nothing but a card. I dont have a ton of money so I include pictures. I feel its more personal that way. What do you all think

depends... my wife and I usually do a short letter outlining our year, but this year, we are starting something new - a restaurant review.

No pictures, but my wife makes the cards. She likes being all crafty and stuff.

I don't really celebrate it, but everyone else in my house does. My wife buys cards to send out every year.

And every year, she never gets around to sending them out.

And every year, I make fun of her for not sending them out.

And every year she swears that she will send them out next hear.

And every year.... She never gets around to sending them out.

My wife is the big card sender. We send out about 40 cards a year for both Hanukah and Christmas. This year I have invested about an hour in decoration. We have a small ceramic tree that hasn't been plugged in yet, a two penguins standing around a christmas tree peice, a two foot tall plastic Santa in the front yard and we line a doorway with the cards we get. My son is 29 and lives in Jacksonville. Nobody to impress but ourselves. Makes for an easy cleanup too.

The cards rarely make it out in time for Christmas, but they do eventually go out. Most of our friends know it'll be coming at some point, but they don't hold their breath.

As I predicted our cards went out late. I knew they would.

I design a new card every year. I always run late, but we do manage to get them in the mail before Christmas Day ...
