Good Morning Gurus!

Well, I had an interesting day yesterday...

I was in Denver on a video shoot all day. And most of the night...

We were shooting a promo for a reality show. I don't want to go into too much detail right now, but it may turn into a pretty cool experience for me. More details as I know I am allowed to share them.

In the meantime, here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot.

It was snowing like crazy in Denver all day. I got to the shoot around 11am, and left around 10pm. I was about 110 miles from home, and the highway was a skating rink for the first 60 miles. After that, things cleared up.

I drove my wife's Suzuki SX4, as it has all wheel drive. There was quite a bit of traffic during the icy part of my journey, and pretty much everyone was loafing along at 45 mph.

By the time I got about 20 miles from home, things were dry, and a Subaru Impreza and I made the most of our new found traction, and made up for some lost time. That part was fun! I'm sure my wife's car had never seen triple digits before, and will never see them if she is driving.

How's things in your world, guys?

Sno fun today.

Got to leave for work at 4:30pm. Should be fun driving in rush-hour stuff.

Highs in the 80's lows in the 60's. Waiting on the return of the 91, hopefully today. The mechanic/shop owner is playing the string along game. He just noticed this, He just noticed that. My wife is going over to rescue the car because I'm stuck at work. Sunday we're going to have an Old Years Party. Out with the old........ We're going to break in the new BBQ grill that she got me for X-mas. I wouldn't know what it's like to be bored because it just doesn't happen. Three days off this weekend, Sun,Mon,Tue ... Whoo Hoo!

No apologies needed man! (aw dude, now you made me look stupid by deleting your post...)

That's what "the chat" is for. Dumb shit that you don't want to create a new thread for. It's all good! I just do it to get things started in the mornings.

It's kinda like getting to the office in the morning and saying hello to your co-workers, ya know? Small talk.

I don't do it in real life, but I like to see as much traffic on here as possible. Gives me something to do.

Whoa man I can't believe you caught that!!

The gist of it is I've been on vacation since before Christmas and I'm getting a bit antsy to do some work. Today I'm doing some minor work on a friends Audi, then maybe clean up the garage. I proceeded to apologize to anyone who took the time to read my post.

Cabin fever - I hate the cold. It really makes me lethargic. I'm going to spark up a conversation with some of the guys here in warmer climates and dream of 75 and sunny....

I've been to Lauderdale for a week (off season middle of summer) and loved it there. Seems the people you talk to (admittingly many that never actually lived there) have mixed feelings about it.

How is the housing market? Jobs/pay? over congested? You like it there?
