Is the only decent intake comparison around
Not perfect because the cam was not optimized for each intake ( cam used better suited to short runner intakes ) but shows the Perf attributes of the differing intake types if you compare the graphs

None of the long runner style intakes( even aftermarket big tube versions ) run big revs but make impressive bottom end torque

I had seen that before and always wished it had been done on a stock L98 to see what that would have produced. I like the TPIS set up and am saving my pennies and I'm saving my dimes to make my stocker breath.

Think about this for a moment:

Thanks to the ALMS restrictions, the C5R and C6.r GT1 cars were limited to ~610hp, thanks to dual 1.3" restrictors.

To make up for the stall, they used these big ass airboxes.

Without said restrictors, the racing 7.0 would produce somewhere north of 900hp (quote from Johnny O).

According to Ron Fellows, the 7.0, thanks to the restrictors, produced power between 2900 and 5400 RPM. Seriously.

@Marcus - you want to make the stock L98 breath? Extrude hone the base, put on big runners, clean up the plenum. Add a dual exhaust system and then a cam and rocker package. Done is done.
