The fuel guage on my 89 displays full (all bars) all the time now. Never goes down. Sending unit?

vetteoz - I tried that... and it didn't help my situation.

It is worth a shot, but I suspect wear varies. I also know that with 176k miles, mine is done!

Received my new sending unit from corvetterecycling.com and installed it Thursday. Was not a bad job, took about an hour. The gauge now works, or it came off of full to about 1/2 tank which is about right. The car started and ran so I did somethig right. The weather has been bad so have not driven the car yet.
