Strick LT1 to LT4 top end upgrade (check in on the other thread I started)

Check in with my other thread that details all that I'm trying to do, Thanks.

So far I have the LT4 heads, LT4 intake, 95 timing cover (for new opti upgrade), 95 fuel rail with regulator, covers, and need to get the Hotcam and rockers. So the question I have is the wiring from the ECM to the new 95 opti, is there a plug and play pigtail or do I have to re-wire from the ECM? I'm sure others have done this upgrade ahead of me and I don't like to reinvent the wheel on this. Thanks for any suggestions or ideas.

I think there is an adapter. I did not need it with my MSD opti as it came with the correct connector. I'll have to sift through a few threads, but I'm sure it was identified before.

92 has a one year specific Opti harness with a 5 wire connector (the one thats is located under the fuel rail cover).

You need to de-pin that 5 wire connector, cut off the shielded ground wire, tape it up in the harness and re-pin the other 4 wires into a new connector (Same order as they were placed in the 5 wire connector).

EFI connection sells the 4 wire weather pack connector. Mike knows just whats up with these as he helped me a bunch when I did mine.

If you are using a GM optispark, you will also need the Opti harness (from the fuel rail cover connector to the Opti Spark) that Caspers sells. No need if your using the MSD Opti Spark as the harness is built onto it.
