This might sound like a silly question, but I have to ask.
I was just doing a bit of internet reading on the body styles of the c-4. I found an article that stated "The 1984 and 1985 were the only C4's to lack the third brake light (CHMSL, Center High Mounted Signal Light) which was required by federal law beginning in 1986.
My 1994 does not have the third brake light CHMSL as it is supposed to. Can any one shed some light on how that can be possible. Thnaks

The only possibility of that would be that you have a ZR-1 rear bumper cover, near as I can tell.

Maybe it is a bumper cover from one of those kits that change an early body style to a late body style. I imagine those wouldn't have a CHMSL opening in the cover. Is it fiberglass?
