those were cool.
It wasn't that long ago... I was watching a race on TV where one of the cars was a C4... I want to say it was IMSA pre-ALMS, so about 1998 or so. |

Very cool cars. Some of the best looking ever.... you can tell it s a race car but it still looks like an early C4 Corvette.
Some big dog names involved in the building of those cars and race teams. About the spotty documentation deal.... too bad didn't keep better records of what was what, but race cars were and always have been perishible items with yearly rule changes and technology getting outdated so quickly.... For some reason nobody ever thinks the cars will be valuable enough to care about 20-30yrs later.... despite the fact that history shows over and over that they always do. Will |
