Hey, don't feel bad. We got 8" of snow here in Missouri Thursday night, and once that melts we have to deal with all the salt and chemicals that were spread to melt it.

I feel your pain too, it was in the low 60's, and raining here. I had to use blankets to sleep and shut the windows. I cant wait for the normal Hawaii weather.....

Two words: Drought Buster.
The rains and snow CA has received over the last month has literally broken the back on the drought. |

Two words: Drought Buster. Yea, and it hasen't stopped. The ski slopes, like South Lake Tahoe got 2 feet in the last 2 days. The snow's been on the ground for 6 weeks in Reno, haven't seen this in 20 years. Usually we get 2-3 days a month where it's over 50 and we can go play on the race track. |

yea, but consider that the rain and snow in question are the #1 source of water for SF, Reno, Las Vegas, LA and Pheonix...
Sorry for the lack of track time, tho... I know what that is like! When I lived in Delaware, the winters were these 4 month periods of grey, chilly, clamy, rainy and sometimes snowy weather. I remember the winter of 2003... the last bad one I experienced there. It rained or snowed 20 out of 22 weekend from Jan 1 thru mid June. About this time in Feb 2003, we had a medium snow, about 14". Then, two weeks later, it blizzarded, 31". A week later, it rained its ass off, but it wasn't enough to wash the roads clean, all it did was give everyone colds. yuck. I went to FL for the 12 hrs of Sebring, and felt better, cause at least it was warm!!!! It kept raining... one of the weekends it DIDN'T rain, in Mid April, was the first cruise in at the local strip mall... however, the mass of wet had turned the lawn portion into a marsh... we ran outta room!!!! Nasty... very nasty... |
