HI TEE---
OVERCAST HERE, 60 DEGREES, MAY CLEAR OFF LATER. GETTING WORRIED ABOUT THE TOMATO. THE WRENCHMEISTER'S APPRENTICE IS GONE. NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED; DRUG INDUCED PSYCHOSIS, MAYBE. LEFT THE SHOP IN BAD SHAPE, ONLY ONE GUY WORKING (NOT A STAR OF RELIABILITY) AND HE HAD TO ASK FOR MONEY TO PAY FOR PARTS. THE WRENCHMEISTER DOING SOME CONSULTING. HOPE I GET MY CAR OUT BEFORE THE PLACE FOLDS. THAT WILL LEAVE ME IN THE WIND FOR MECHANIC WORK :-( STILL NEED CHRISTMAS FOR FOUR OF THE FEMALES ON THE LIST; THE GRANDSONS WILL BE HAPPY WITH MONEY :-) ALWAYS FORWARD MEIN HERREN (AND YOU TOO LETTY)! |

Good afternoon - Gris I have your same weather - doubt it clears off much for a day or two and then temps will drop. not looking forward to cold weather at all. I think we only had one week of fall, plus a week of Indian summer and that was it. Gris, check at your local Chevy dealership, most techs do side work in their shops at home, look for one that's been there for a long time and just ask him. A lot of body shops use dealer techs for side jobs too so that might be an approach. And, with them being certified through the dealer ship, they'll know what they're doing. Of course you will have to supply part money as they're operating at home, but they can troubleshoot for you so you aren't throwing parts at something. Arron does this, he actually has keys to lots of shops and they'll call him and schedule and leave his money there, he gets done, locks up and leaves. Or, he'll have them bring it to the house. We have an Expedition getting timing chains at home now. Figure labor at about half the cost of a dealership.
I'm in the office today to make up for being off Wednesday to got to the doc in Little Rock. Not much happening here, no complaints from me. I think I'll change into my gym gear, go take a walk out near the little lake here and get groceries and go home. |
