The guy playing the bongos was a friend of mine. He lived in NYC and Miami. His name was Mongo Santamaria. Class act type of guy.I still see his son every now and then, Mongolito.

I saw buddy live on the Tonight Show when I was a kid.

I think John Bonham ties with Keith for the best rock drummer.

My favorite drummer is Neil Pert.

My Slingerland drum set that i got when I was 7 is the Gene Krupa model.
