I just got off the phone with Jon from www.fuelinjectorconnection.com

AWESOME guy, amazing prices.

He is working on doing an LT4 injector now that I will be the test mule for. I'm very excited, the Bosch III's are awesome looking, and should be a great update.

Also, one thing you guys should think about with this new alcohol shit in our fuel is it will eat the injectors from 85-93 .

Should be cool, and I'll post updates and info after I get them and get them on the car.

Jon has a great reputation. I don't think I've ever heard a bad thing about him! When it's time for my injectors, I'll be going to him.

This article says between 45-50 - haven't found anything more specific. Maybe the FSM has some more details?

oh, good call on the FSM, I'll go look now to see.

I wish I had a damn fuel pressure gauge, I'm calling friends to see if they have one lol.

Does anyone know if autozone or discount does the loan a tool on them?

Jon is at www.fuelinjectorconnection.com not the injection connection. Trivial but I just wanted to post the correct link if anybody was looking for his site.

Jon has great prices, extremely knowledgeable, and is the most personable person I have dealt with.

I didn't look at the original website - Jon works at "FIC" - Fuel Injector Connection.

I bought a FP gauge from harbor freight, after about 20 minutes getting the damn thing not to leak I got a measurement heh.

After I called Jon he told me a guy with an LT4 collector wanted his stocks cleaned and serviced, so Jon would take that set, clean and service them, then flow test them to make the design III's to their spec

It was odd, all literature on the LT4 says they're a 28lb injector, but on the flow bench, they all flowed 26lb at 43.5 psi.

So Jon made the injectors to the 26psi spec, and they will be getting sent out tomorrow.

New injectors are in!!

All I can say is WOW what a difference!!!

My stockers had no issues at all, I just wanted to get something made for the LT4 guys.

Got them installed without many hiccups.

Hit the key, waited for them to get fuel, and then she lit.

And purred like never before. So much smoother.

At WOT I'm not noticing TOO much of a difference, there is one there, but the butt dyno can't give an exact number.

But partial throttle is night and day!! At 15-20% the thing just takes off like never before. Even the 1st to 4th shift is smooth as glass now!

Now, some pics :D

I got mine in the mail today, so I installed them tonight. I haven't had a chance to do more than a quick run around the block, but it runs very smooth, and these are MUCH quieter than my original injectors. My car just flipped over to 41,000 on the trip around the block, too. I disconnected the battery again while the engine cools overnight to make sure the computer gets reset properly in the morning - it was still pretty warm when I was working on it. And Jon is a first-class guy, indeed - he called just to see how the install was going.
