Yes, the date was with my wife...lol.
After being cooped up in the house with the little pooper, we decided to have a "date" for my bday (tomorrow). Dropped off Sammy at grandma's house and we went to a nice Italian retaurant just outside of downtown. We've been there a few times and enjoy the food. Amazing how nice it was to get away for a couple hours just the two of us. Our friends told us to enjoy it while we could (pre-birth) but I never really believed them 100%. Now I understand....lol. I think we'll try to do this as often as we can - I think that's important. I wanted to check out some car shows tonight, too, but with the crappy storms we have I don't think there's much goin on. Anywho, hope everyone had a safe and fun Sat night! Matthew |

Date night is important. I forgot about that for about fourteen years.
Sometimes not having family around sucks. But in my case, most of the time it is wonderful. Save the wave, AND the Date Night!  |
