Bought a new 2001 PT Cruiser for a Daily Driver so the Vette doesn't have to come out in bad weather. Vette used to be driven daily and has seen monsoon rains and six inch deep snow. I'm also at 140K and it deserves a rest.

Anyway, the PT has been a good buy. Not much trouble and does whatever is asked of it. Cruises at 90 on the highway and gets middle 20's in normal driving. I belong to 2 PT Cruiser clubs and started adding "mods" when I saw all the other PT's doing so and started showing it at local shows.

Thanks Pete. Here's a link to my Gallery. From there you can go thru the site and see hundreds of other PT Cruisers and what others have done to them.

They are one of the very few American cars we get here in Australia that can be bought from a dealer, the others being various Jeeps, Dodge Neon (called Chrysler Neon here) Chrysler Voyager (not sure what you call them, ive heard the name Dodge Minivan used) and also the Ford F trucks could be had through a Ford dealer also. All Corvettes we have here are through special import dealers.
