Got up at 5:30, got to the race track at 6:45.
Two of us did tech inspection on 60 cars for the PDX(HPDE) and Time Trials. I got to ride (instruct) in a EVO, 350HP, full cage, Sparcos. A new Lotus And a C5 Mallet,435c.i.,full cage, sparcos,etc. Freeking fast. Then at 4:00, they shut down the roadcourse, opened up the dragstrip and 150 of the "Hot August Nights" hotrods and 57 Chevs. came in to pound down the strip. Great way to spend a Saturday. |
