actually the tight LSA does help pick them up and build torque. Also narrows the powerband which can be a good or bad thing depending on the rest of the setup.
I happen to like motors with tight lobe centers, they hit like a ton of bricks, but personally I like a little wider powerband which the tighter LSAs dont typically offer.. Something for everyone.

Exactly, I think that Pr0zac doesn't realy care about picking up a gallon of milk, I think he wants absurd times, hence high compression and tight separation.

For his setup and desires, I suspect that would do it.

AHEM. GENTLEMEN - CHILL.

I am not liking the pushing of buttons. If you don't grasp the concept of playing nice and staying on topic, I will take further action.

I am trying to be nice. Take a minute and read the Civility sticky. This area is about sharing information, not verbal jabs.

the vette is going to me more of a track car than anything, and my goal is to have a really fast car. the intent is to be faster than the turbo turds that others that i know are driving. considering i run nitrous i get plenty of that seat of the pants when i hit the button. if you knew my entire setup you wouldnt be pissing around about seat of the pants. i told some people what i had so far and what i wanted to do, they said do this. compared notes and came up with my setup. i have seen result of similar setups and know what i am getting. i will be moving to NYC in a few months so i won't be able to drive it to get groceries. i have a 94 trans am that i drive when i want to get groceries and i have a truck that i take home from my current job. if you would like my life story i could pm it to you.
