For those doing "over the air" reception have you checked it yet?

Not quite as strong as the old analog signal is it?

What I can't figure out is that I recieve all the digital channels in our area downstairs, but the TV's upstairs can't get the all.

Weird!!!

The only thing I can figure out is that the power lines outside are at the same elevation.

Also the router is upstairs, but that's on a different fequency.

Looks like I'll need a better antenna.

I'm thinking of making one, it's not like I'm going to put it where anyone can see it.

We bought a small LCD to have out on the deck last summer, so we tried the over-the-air reception. I bought a small powered antenna, and the signal was pretty good. But my wife made me run a cable out there anyway, as the Twins games are only available on cable.

I suspect that digital signals are a little more line of sight dependant.

Well I just got back from the Ripoff Shack
Twice.

Tried one of those omnidirectional antennas you find on boats/RVs that actually made it WORSE

So I went out and bought one of the 160in Christmas tree Antennas

Trying to figure out how to get it in the attic now

I boxed it up and brought it back.

Something is definitely jamming the channels upstairs.

Like I said downstairs is AOK.

I guess I'll have to watch those stations downstairs
