the tremendous power that my stock with headers lt1 trans am puts out, even with its failing opti, totally stripped out the pinion gear the other day. just as we started our 10th donut there was a big boom and it just stopped. lol. its good though cause i was really wanting to get rid of the 2.73's that it had and i have found a 3.23 axle that i am going to swap in.. donuts here i come.

yeah. i would have been alright if it were the trans. i have a spare. i actually had to spend money to get the new rear.
