I can't vouch for any snow down here. It was sticking about 3000' elevation.

It did snow 3.5" in Las Vegas though, which is rare. Makes for a pretty crappy view from your Luxor hotel room.

I think it would be cool (no pun) to be in Vegas during a snow storm.

We didn't have any snow near us... it was cold, rainy and raw, tho. Still isn't all that warm... The lows have been near 40... and in a house with no insulation nor central heat, it gets chilly quick.

It'll snow at 38F. And if the ground has snow on it, it'll stick.

Yes, it can... rare, but it can. Much then determines how cold it is aloft.

Happens up here in the Sierra Nevadas all the time, probably rare at sea level.

So thanks to the CHP and their protection of the stupid people on I-5 over Tejon Pass, it took over 10 hours to cover a trip that normally takes 5. Beautiful drive through parts of coast hwy 101 & 1. Point Mugu, Heunume, Malibu. Clear skies and really chilly. Should have drove the Vette.

Breakfast anyone?

CNN Meteorologist: Manmade Global Warming Theory 'Arrogant'
Network's second meteorologist to challenge notion man can alter climate. I think the entire "Global Warming" thing is a masive hoax.

Gotta love the Sierra Nevadas.

I've seen it snow in August, up on the mountain about 15 minutes from my house.

What's really nice: bikini sking in the spring.

Research Newsweek for their 1975 article on "Global Cooling"
Yep, the same "scientifc types" were predicting grave consequences within 25 years.
