Will running 17" wheels on the front and 18" wheels on the back of my 89 coupe look funny? Also will it throw off my speedometer? WW

Only the actual tire diameter effects the speedometer.

All the standard fitments for your 17 or 18" wheels will have about 25-26" diameter, which is fine for speedo accuracy.

I've seen C4s with 18s on back, it looks fine. On a C5 its almost necessary to match the huge ass end. I prefer to keep them equal all around for the sake of tire rotations.

If you have different wheel sizes and directional tires, you can't rotate anything.

Very cool Haven't seen that design before. I like it better than the stock C5 wheels. Too bad they don't have offsets for the 84-87 cars.

Here's a better shot.

When you buy your tires, just make sure that the overall diamtere for both front and rear is within 5% +/- of 25.7 inches (OE size). You could stick with the stock 275/40ZR17 on the front and go 315/35ZR18 on the rear. OD's will match and look slick.
