I scored a Rogers Big Jim Silver Spot for $4 a couple of years ago on ebay.

I've only seen 2 other ss on ebay ever. One went for $65, the other for $55.

IMO, the best bass plug ever. First one I had, I found in a tree on my lake as a youngin'. One Tuesday late June in '75, high noon, when they're deep, I pulled up a 9 1/4 lb largemouth with that RBJ Silver Spot. 3 days later high noon again, another lunker 8 1/4 lb, same plug.

Lake is gone - dam burst in '83; killed 2 kids. Street map still show the lake.

Pic brings memories there. Ever get 'blocked' by a president? In high school, I was seein' a chick that lived top left - Echo lane. I lived at the 'X'. Her step-dad was HUGE contributor to Carter. His motorcade drove by my house when he went to get some grub with her step dad. SS guys everywhere. I didn't get to see her that night, but did manage to get into different trouble, and did NOT get OFF.

Stinkin' dems. I shoulda' gone fishin'.
