Anybody seen a digital dash problem like this before? Ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out!!!!!!


I turn the key on the dash display looks great... Start the engine and the cluster goes goofy...

The digital dash is prone to poor grounds. Gordon Killebrew has a book take explains how to run a new ground by tapping the ambient air temp switch mounted on the firewall, behind the brake pedal area. Hopefully someone with the book will chime in.

This happened to me before with low voltage and a bad alturnator. I would check it out and get it tested.

Thanks Guys for the great info.... I will have the alternator checked out.... if that dont work I will order the book.

Just repaired problem..... It was a bad coil... that was a weird problem...

Yes ignition coil.... I replaced the coil last year. Car was in the paint shop for 7 months.. got it back and it had the problem.... I keep a list of everything I do to the car.. The last thing I did was replace the coil... Put the old one back in problem went away.... weird problem..
