Pretty sure I know how I want to do it. Have had the doors apart several times but want to check in with you guys that have done a window R&R for any tips I might not have thought of to makes sure it goes smoothly. I am thinking of getting the window to where I can get to the bolts and mark and measure a line on the old one to transfer to the new one with grease pencil to get the alignment correct. Sound like a plan?

That definitely sounds like a plan. I actually never marked the position of the glass, because the nuts with the large captivated washers left a pretty good marks on the regulator. But certainly, there is nothing wrong with marking it. Have fun.

RACE ON!!!

I use tape instead of a grease pen.

It's not that bad once you've done it

Getting the door panel screws out is the worst part

Followed by the inner panel

just make sure you have the harness it the right spot, otherwise you need to take it all apart again.
