Howdy y'all! I'm convertine my early '86 to and LT1 intake but have a few questions...
1. On the LT1 manifold, there is a vacuum hose that does a "U turn" on the drivers side. What is the point of that and can I just cap those plugs? 2. When hooking up the fuel lines, how do I know which line is the sending and which is the return line? I am referring to when I hook up the fuel rail, which line gets the FPR and which one doesn't? 3. The TPI has a sensor near the brake booster vacuum connection, but there seems to not be one on the LT1, can I just delete the sensor or do I have to buy the relocating kit? 4. I am interested in writing a tech article on how to install an aftermarket alarm with keyless entry. What do I have to do to get it up here? Thanks, Jack |

3. Sensor? Is there a wire? Can you take a pic?
4. Easy... compose the instructions, with original pics and edited pics. Here is the thing, if you send me the edited pics with your circles and numbers on them, refering to mods that must be done, I can enhance from the original pics. I will also fine tune the instructions, send back for final editing/approval and then turn it into a PDF for uploading. That's it! |

1. So I need to make the u turn?
2. How do I identify the pressure line? 3. I think it's called the MAT sensor. MAM has the kit to move it to the air box for $50 or so. Yes there is a single wire connected to it. It looks kinda like an o2 sensor. 4. mmk |
