Wow that's nice. But I'd like an 80s vintage like yours Tommy, a little more affordable and I think I could work on them without being afraid of breaking too much.

I think you hit on something there. The older stuff is less complex. Except when it comes to Porsche engine internals.

Sorry, that is about the truth....

Love the wide body, not keen on the cabriolet. Gotta be a coupe. And probably '84-'89 or so.

I like the classic look. I used to be more up on the model year differences, but I gave up on owning one a long time ago, and have not kept my knowledge base up.

I know there was something about the 70's cars that was a big issue. Cam chain tensioners or something? I don't care for what they did to the bumpers in the mid 90's cars.

So, yeah... Let's say an '87 coupe N/A car with the steel widebody fenders from the turbo, in Guards Red or whatever the silver color was called. Standard Fuch rims, or maybe some old school BBS RS mesh wheels.

But it probably will never happen. I thought I wanted a twenty car garage, but I'm having trouble justifying two cars. And it's not really even a money thing. Just that it seems silly to have a car in the garage that I don't drive.

At least the 911 has a back seat....
