Ok... I need pictures!

There are six generations.

Gen's 1, 2 and 4 are stock photography. Gen's 3, 5 and 6 are my pictures (car shows and the like).

If you would like to see your car up in lights, please foward to me at admin@corvette-guru.com, a high resolution, colour image of your car. And you must own the image. If you took it, great!

If selected, it will become our model car for that generation!

Remember HIGH RESOLUTION!!! I need 300 dpi to make the image look right (I know, it gets compressed to 72dpi, but if I start with 300 and compress it myself, the images are much better).

THANKS!!!!

Can I post someone's else's car? Mine isn't ready, but I have a few very nice images of Curt's 1974. They are my images I took, and I think it would be a great example for the C3 generation.

If you want it, tell me, and I'll email the full resolution image. I have many other images of this car, if you want a particular angle.

If you want another C4 to rotate I'll send you one of mine later tonight. Depends if I can find a good uncluttered image.

When I say hi-res, that means, the original from a good digital camera. For example, the image that DB posted of Curts C3 is great, but the internet converts it DOWN to 72dpi for presentation.

If I start with 300, then convert down to 72, I have control over the clarity of the image... and then using the better jpg compression software that is in photoshop, I get a better smaller image.

dpi = dots per inch.

@DB - Can you send me a pic or 2 of Curts. I really love that colour...

@Ruby - Checking emails! Thanks!

Ok... this is great!

Ruby - pics are awesome!

Flyboy - Highres and we have something!

Big Grizzly - you know the graphic with all the text? "How Do You Guru"? Do you have a similar pic of your C4? I would use that there and flyboy's on the selection icon.

I need a C1 pic... and a C5 pic... I will reach out to Wes for a C1 pic. I am sure he has one that will work.

C5's anyone???

I've got 9 images that I think work, some even have Curt's '95 in the background.

How big a file can you receive?

I have a 21.7 MB file with 9 images.

Can you receive that okay?

Let me know and I'll send it or I can send them individually at around 2.5 MB each.

Thanks,

DB, great picture of Curtis' Vette. Capturing the color of that car is difficult.

I don't know what the dpi is, but it was taken on 21.1 mega pixel body and the size of this picture is over 18 meg. Would this work? If you want it, I'll e mail the clean file. The picture below is watered down.

My car isn't the prettiest C4 out there, but I have a nice picture of X-Fire's C4. If he wants me to, I can send it as well.

We be cool. I have already updated the C3 and C5 icons.

As I said in my email back, that one image of both of Curt's cars is kick-ass. I can't wait to use it for something special.
