We were at Sebring this past weekend for the 12 hours (see pics, more to come) and watched, for the upteenth time, the IBIZ Wax demo.

Intresting product, so I dropped the coin.

So far, rather impressive. I need to do my entire 92, to get a better idea, but I did a bit of the right rear quarter on both my 92 and bastet44's red 87.

Her red 87 had been repainted in a simple one step process, over time, it has oxidized to the point where it is as much white as red.

It took two passes, one with the cleaner, the other wax (two passes of each, in sequence) and the red came back to life.

Bought a bottle of IBIZ @ a local car show, great stuff! about the same shine as Surf City and Pinnacle.

When I ordered my vette in 87 I chose white with gun metal leather interior. White does not wax up as well as other color choices I could have made. Red is great and shows the effort made during the detailing process.

How does it compare to everyone's favorite, Zaino?

I don't have an opinion yet. I do know that as a cleaner, IBIZ kicks Zaino into next Thursday.

I have always said that Zaino was designed for new paint - whatever the source... and protect and shine from that point. The start.

Zaino is also useless at minor scratch removal. Again, it is simply a shining agent and a damned good one; IBIZ seems to be a bit more than that.

They did this stunt with spray paint... yea, dog/pony, I am sure, but the paint was given a solid 5 minutes to dry. And his stuff pulled it right off. Not even bug and tar does that as effectively.

It is also non-abrasive. The cream is like a lotion.

The wash is also good for windows, works like Rain-X; no fact on that yet, but I will test that this week.

A few years back I was using liquid glass. I always thought it did wonders like that on my faded white 90.
