My Grandfather was a pilot, a very successful one where he flew his plane and his crew much longer than average. He even did the nose art on his plane and the only living member of his crew still contacts my Grandmother every year to say hi.
Here is the best pic I have scanned in. If you guys have other cool pics then scan them and post them. I love old war shots like these. My Grandfather, E. L. Fantastic pic!
My dad's dad was a pilot. He passed a few years ago. I wish I had some photos like that. My uncle has all of that stuff, and he isn't about to let anyone else get close enough to look at it. Rather unfortunate. |
