I am not very religious but I am a Jesus guy and try to live my life to please him and in doing so hope to help others that need help out of the hell holes they are in to lead a better life. It is not about religion, you are right about that, man has used it to his political advantage for ever. Man in general is evil. What do you expect. Martin Luther nailed a list on the wall of the church back in his day that called the religious corruption what it was. It started a whole new look and changed the church ever since. So it's about a relationship with God through his son Jesus that is the true religion and you are free to enter in or not, your choice. One thing that we all have to decide in this life is who was Jesus. Your choice but take time to study what He says for yourself before you decide because we are all going to find out one way or another...... Your last two statements about the left and the right are party line bullshit from beginning to end. I don't agree and that's cool because sometimes we have to agree to disagree.....

Yes, it seems the times they are a changing.
I found it interesting that opposition is correlated with religious attendence, older age, republican party and live in the south or the midwest. (all of which apply to me) Support correlates with lack of religious affliliation, young age, democratic party and live in the northeast and on the west coast. (which pretty much covers you guys) Time marches on, and it all comes down to politics. It would be interesting to see what things will look like 50 or 100 years down the road. Wow rich that's a busy schedule the best part is at the end when you get to eat those ribs. Matt sounds like a good family day for you also. It rained big here last night with lots of thunder and lightning. 2 inches here. We have ball games today and they may not happen now. Also a wedding to go to this evening.
I need to clean up my car still from last weekends journey. I need to nap also. Have a fun day off guys and girls. The man was torrefyed by the thought of flying in an airplane.

Paint yes, frame yes, engine ck and fix if things are bad they can handle, fiberglass ?? upholstry no. They have a antique tractor rebuilding business. So have some capabilitys. What do you think? Fitty cents?

I was talking to one of my clients yesterday and he said, come out here and look what I got in the shed. I had no idea what he was talking about so I went with him and he proudly showed me his just bought 76 Corvette. I was suprised and told him so. He said he found it on Craigs list and got it for only 3500 bucks. I then thought uh oh.
I tried to act excited but the car is toast. Paint is gone and that is the 2nd or 3rd paint job. Interior shot. I think its an L48 auto but he says the owner said it was an L82 that has just been gone through. Mmmmmm I says. I said well these C3's are cool cars and fairly easy to restore with all the parts available to them. I think he will spend 10K getting it back to drivable if he does the work himself. Does that sound right for a frame off? I asked what a restored one like this is worth, and he said 15 to 18K. Man, what can you say.......I said Corvettes right now are down so you have to know that you will almost never get out of them what you put in them. But when resurected you will have a very cool car. It was originally red with red guts but someone had done the whole thing in blue. I wished he would have asked me first. I hope he can get it going again. I think he paid way to much. I mean maybe for a chrome bumper car you could pay that but not for a 76. Am I wrong on that?

Hey Don, about the time we all have to vote the party line around here I won't be interested. Sometimes what is right is not the popular thing. You stick to your guns.
Working around the office today trying to keep up with the paper work. Then some yard work and will pull the cover off the car and get it ready for the weekend. Oh yeah it's the weekend. As a Bible belt homophobe I have to agree with what Don is saying about this agenda being forced on us by the media. The problem I have is that the media looks at this like they do race issues.
Back in the 60's it was huge when NBC put Bill Cosby in a starring role on I Spy. Now we all agree that that social agenda was needed and for the most part we have seen race issues decline over the decades to the point that we don't even think about what color a mans skin is anymore. It's can this man do the job, is he honest and trustworthy. To a great extent that is what they are trying to do with the gay agenda. As the young kids grow up they see it as normal and it just is what it is. I don't see the gay agenda as the same thing as race discrimination. Gays do not want to be discriminated against and have asked over the years for special laws to be passed to protect them, when in truth they have all the protections built into the Constitution of the United States. Race and deviant behavior are not the same thing. What constitutes diviant behavior? Where do you draw the line. Certanly what happens between consenting adults is nobodys business but theirs but why do they have to push it on us. The Bible is not wishy washy on the subject and that is where the Christians get their ammunition. The idea that gets shoved under the rug though is that we are to love the sinner and hate the sin. Often time we end up hating them both and that is not what the Lord had in mind. It was designed for a man to love a woman and anything other than that is a diviation of what God intended. So like a lot of things in our fallen world it is a sin.

I'm a Corvette guy. Always loved them starting with the TV show Route 66. Always wanted one and have had C2's 3's and now a C4. Each generation had improvements and things that were not so great. I do not want a car I can't drive or one that is a collector edition because I don't want to feel guilty putting on the miles.
I get attached to my cars so will keep it as long as it's good to go. I will have a newer gen car someday but for now I am happy with my car.

It's sunny here for a change, I will send it on up. Brad you're right the Twins all of a sudden can't lose, wierd. Tommy when you find it it will be just what you wanted.
Regular work day ahead here. Crops for the most part look good. There is some concern about the flooding over around the Nebraska Nuke plants over by the river. The govt says it's all under control but that is when I start to worry. We do have the cheapest electricity rates in the country partly due to the Nukes..... Not much else to report, let's get over the hump and head for the weekend.....Yeehaaaa Guru's!

Good morning, had some wild weather in the area last night. You know it's going to be an interesting evening when two seperate Storm Chaser outfits fly by you when you are on the way home. Here is a picture of a tornado that was west of town 5 miles and tore up a bunch of stuff and derailed a coal train. Nobody got hurt thank goodness.
The houses get in the way but right over the middle house you can see the top of the funnel. I could see the whole funnel when it was further south but I was racing home to get stuff put away. Not so much for the tornado but there was supposed to be a lot of hail with it. Life on the prairie. Matt, one day at a time, what can we do to help? Tommy, if we didn't have guests occasionally we would never get stuff in order. Brad what is up with the Twinkies? Let's roll Guru's it's Big Tuesday!

I know you could hear a clunk sound when they downshifted into a corner. Not on the upshifts though. I thought you could anyway.....

Those paddle shifters have made it somewhat easier for the drivers I'm thinking. There would be a lot of manual shifting going on during that race.
