My son's girlfriend had her car stolen last weekend... it was a Hyundai which are like just get in and drive it off easy to steal.... they found it 5 days later in a church parking lot across town. It had not been molested but her wallet was in the console so she cancelled everything and had to get new... 31 cars were stolen in Lincoln that weekend.... I think its past time to lock and load... hang a few of those bastards and the rest will fade away....

nice as pie here.... took the 56 into Star City and stopped at Speedway to get oil yesterday. I'm using Lucas Hot Rod oil 10-30.... it has high zinc in it.... have 4,000 miles since the last change and oil is getting dark...

It's official..... I'm a K-State Wildcat fan..... grew up in Manhattan and sold pop at the games in the old stadium.... they have wanted me back for years but after today's Husker game I am finally headed back to the Purple ....

She passed on in 1986 or 87...she had seen the advent of TV and radio and refrigeration along with Man walking on the Moon..... she said for her it was when they received electricity to the ranch in the 40's... they lived 60 miles out in the country. The REA or Rural Electric Association brought refrigerators, washing machines and radio to those who had no power. Like a miracle to her.

So I just booked the Alaskan Cruise on Princess. got a bit bigger cabin wid balcony.... deck 10 mid ship... Doc is worried about getting seasick... we will have lots of Bonine with us... pretty pricey but you can't take it with you right? First time cruisers so being cautious...

I am waiting on the machine shop to make some braces for me so I can raise the carport 6" because my truck is 79" tall and the crossbeam on the carport is 79" tall.... hmmmm....should have paid more attention to the ad.... easy fix as I lift the thing up with 6" blocks...but need to attach those to the existing 6x6 legs....

nice and cool here today... went for a ride on Harley last evening and it was cool when I left and dang near cold when I got back.... must be fall is coming...

..being a fair skinned with English and Irish background I have also had numerous basil cell skin problems...I go in every 6 months to get checked and they freeze or cut stuff out every time. If my dermatologist is driving a brand new C8 it is because I bought it for him.... I also know that anytime I looked up something on the internet on what ails me.... I pretty much consider myself dead and gone....

get it checked and get it gone.... then stay ever vigilant... I am thinking there are a lot of folks headed to the dermatologist in the next few weeks after Jimmy passed.

Waiting until the end of the day to call it, but we think our old Yorkie has gone on to something better... 16 years old and he was here at lunch on Friday and when we noticed he was gone around supper time, he never has been found. He had a great life with 4 acres and more to roam on and dig and bark and run. Also a family that loved him....

I fed them both at lunch and somewhere after that he was let out and then they left the gate open and he wandered off... got 4 acres here with lots of trees and such and have been over every inch of it.... the other direction is town and you think he would have been picked up by someone..... we may never know.... but...there is always hope....
