Imagine you were born in 1850. Think of how amazed you must have been by progress by the time you were 70. That is if you lived to be age 70.

I asked my Grandmother who homesteaded in Montana after being hauled out there in a covered wagon. She passed on in 1986 or 87...she had seen the advent of TV and radio and refrigeration along with Man walking on the Moon..... she said for her it was when they received electricity to the ranch in the 40's... they lived 60 miles out in the country. The REA or Rural Electric Association brought refrigerators, washing machines and radio to those who had no power. Like a miracle to her.

Marc, that didn't happen did it? K-State looked pretty good though.

Nothing on the agenda, and have done nothing, except a mile and a half walk. Headed to church pretty soon.

It's official..... I'm a K-State Wildcat fan..... grew up in Manhattan and sold pop at the games in the old stadium.... they have wanted me back for years but after today's Husker game I am finally headed back to the Purple ....

NOT A BAD SHOW, BUT WE GOT THE WORST LOCATION IN THE HOUSE: AT THE VERY BACK. ANYBODY WITH MONEY TO SPEND HAS SPENT IT BY THE TIME THEY GET TO US; ANYBODY WITH SOMETHING TO SELL HAS SOLD IT BEFORE THEY GET TO US. OH WELL, MAYBE TOMORROW---

OUR OLDTIME SHOW PAL FROM WESTERN OK CAME OVER AND SET UP WITH US. WAS NICE TO CATCH UP.
