Good morning, overcast here but rain has moved out. We didn't get a whole lot, but we didn't need it, either. I'd like to see a nice light soaker every other day here over the next couple weeks, just had the yard overseeded. The ice we had that hung around seemed to kill part of it off. Not the weed though, never those of course. Matt, hope the tire cost don't hit you too bad, I will be needing winter Rover tires and I dread that. NONE of those are cheap. These that are on there now have some weird foam lining or something they call noise reduction. Never seen that before.

Good afternoon, drizzling rain here from early morning then off and on all day. Not sure how much we'll get but it'll start up again around 6pm. Been a slow day at work today , not complaining. At this point in the week, it's too late really for me to start anything large as I won't be able to get done with it before I leave. I'll be here tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday morning and that's it. Good morning Gris, gloomy here too. We're having blackberry winter around here. I'm ready to start complaining about how hot it is outside. Rain due possibly tonight and also the next couple days. I had planned to water all the plants with my peroxide/epsom salt mix tonight but if it's gonna rain, I'll hold off. I need to do that this weekend at least, and spray for pests on shrubs, house perimeter too. I also need to put the rest of the mulch out and deep clean the pool house and tidy up , dust and such before surgery. I won't be able to after. Supposed to have a 15-passenger van in here today, kinda hoping it don't show. I have this week to get done with whatever is on my desk and so far I'm caught up. I really don't want to start something big and not be able to get it print ready before I leave and make someone mad.

good morning, beautiful day here, hasa been cooler last couple days, that worked to my advantage Saturday while out doing yard work. Had my newphew come help. He's actually my cousins' kid but he calls me "auntee" cause he's trying to be respectful, good kid when he can be. He raked around my yard and cleaned off the front porch before that and bagged up a bunch of leaves, then helped me all afternoon Saturday moving patio furniture sweeping, scrubbing etc. Gave him an Old Apple watch we were going to sell. He seemed pleased and I feel he got something for his time and I didn't have to jack with morons trying to sell it. Win/win. I cleaned house top to bottom after he left. Sunday I hardly moved, I hurt all over and still do but was glad what got done.
last night we got to see the northern lights. Barely. I really couldn't see it from my house but am enjoying all the photos and videos that folks shot with their long exposure settings, so beautiful. It's my dream to see those one day up close.

Good afternoon, another gorgeous day here. Storms last night barely missed us, we got a little wind and rain. Others got lots of wind, hail, uprooted trees and power loss. I e been outside working in the yard today and taking breaks in the lounger. Got the rest of my junk planted /potted. I need to weed one flowerbed, and clean out another corner n out mulch out back. That’ll happen next weekend. Tonight I’ll do some laundry, change the bed and clean the bathroom maybe. Depends.

Good afternoon. Absolutely beautiful here today but storms are coming. I hit up and got groceries , another plant, met a friend with some I picked up for her, came home and had clumsy disasters. I don’t see how I can be six feet from keys on the counter and then fall off . Got a wasp on the house and I’m not sharing so escorted him out with the broom and knocked the kitchen light down. Put veggies in the freezer and spilled a bag of peas. I’m holding down my patio chair and that’s where I’ll stay.

Good morning, at the office till noon thirty today getting some time in and done had a cranky b*tch ruin my day. Nobody in the print business is equipped to do last minute anymore, especially pull a crew off 4 wraps and stop a printer running another do to a $70 door sticker. That she sent me the wrong stuff for and I wasn't even here to process it. I hate people. And I have another waiting in the wings to piss me off in a little bit.

summer here again today. Came to work and will be working daily till surgery time. Need my days in so I don't miss pay if I can help it. and, walked right into a wasp nest when I got here. Owner trying to print a file, I had to rig anyway to match what they printed elsewhre. He couldn't get it, called in another print shop and I guess was freaking out according to the tint manager. I will sort it out. have a full plate here today so I best get back at it.

Good afternoon. Still at the hospital, supposed to be going home . Doc will get me set up in couple weeks to get kidney removed he said. He feels some horrific hip pain is what got me here and the mass on my kidney was an unfortunate accidental find. At least found now and not later. Mass is 6cm she showed me the scan last night.
Been beautiful weather here, wished I could be out in it. If they let me out early enough I will go home and lounge. Supposed to have soup and grilled cheese coming so they might as well wait

Urology needs to get here and get a plan. I think they’re discharging me tomorrow , then we’ll see about surgery she says. Welcome to getting old. This is for the birds. Plus, they moved our meeting to the next town over (40 mins) for the next 2 months. Fair some to the folks from there that drive here but ones living here are the majority. By the time I get out of there I'm not there by the 6pm food ordering time. Meeting starts at 7.
Storms raged here all day yesterday off and on but nothing much at the house except for a bit of hard rain for about 5 minutes. I'll take it. sick of the severe weather around here. And from what I saw yesterday, "tornado alley" is shifting this way now. Used to the majority of EF2+ were to the west of us, now they are on us. Hope my home insurance people don't get wind of that.

overcast and hot here today, bad storms coming in late tonight and again first thing in the morning. I'm absolutely sick to death of this crap. Not sure when I posted last but saw Tommy's cool photo and happy birthdays to who all I've missed.
Was due to leave Friday morning with my friend headed to Amory MS where they had tornadoes. Storms due that afternoon so we left after work Thursday instead. Her mom had just gotten out of the hospital here. She lost all power due to the tornadoes in Amory last week. We went and cleaned out all her freezers. she lost all her food. An entire truck bed full of frozen meats and such plus the fridge. We then took her to the disaster relief places, they hand out water and other essential things. Got her signed up for FEMA assist. United Way came to help us empty the freezers and put in truck. angie can't lift much and her 82 year old, lung cancer having mother sure cant. We took it to a dumpster up in town after and unloaded it. Then we took her to get some plans for the yard like she loves then me and Angie potted and planted till 8:30. Come 2:30 we were back in the storm cellar as more storms and tornadoes wre all around us. missed us again. We got up sunday morning and moved some furniture and stuff she wanted done and we got home about 3. I started in on my planting and quit around 8, I overdid it. Slept late Monday (NOON! I've not done that in 10 years) and back at it again till dark last night. I"m beyond tired. And I'm glad the tornadoes due for our house missed us, and ones for her house missed her. But Wynne and Little Rock got it bad along with some more places in Mississippi. Hurts my heart looking at all that.

Good evening, been a busy day here. Rode to Amory, MS where they had tornado last week. My friends mom lives there and although home wasn’t hit she had no power. 3 freezers full of groceries tho I came to help her. We just threw out a truck bed full. The United way people sent help and we took her to the disaster relief areas to get her some help too.
It looks horrible here, I feel for these people. Reminds me of our tornado a year ago that tore through my town. And it’s a 3 year anniversary of one that tore through where I work. We were a torcon 9 where I live, we were spared. Little Rock and Wynne have heavy damage. Warnings here in Amory till 4am. Monday we go at it again . I want to move

Our town was leveled this same time in 2020, then nursing home and my hometown in 21. I'm sick of the crap. And I'm due to ride with a friend to Mississippi where they just had tornadoes to take her mother back home and help go through her freezers and clean up. good morning, stupid cold here last night, plus a frost. I'm ready for this to be done. Mother nature sends us spring then puts her winter coat back on and storms back in "and another thing" and we have frost when it should be 70. Plants out then plants in, and last night I bought some more. I picked up 2 large macho ferns, 1 kimberly fern, 1 4-trunk large majesty palm (not so sure why THAT one is so $$$ this year I lost my 10 year old pair), and I got 3 hibiscus bushes. Pool house is a bit crowded. Starting off to a slow day at work an hope it stays that way.

And in other news I have taken a fleet from two shops here in town. Dude came here to get quoted a year or two ago and was a straight up ass. He was to everyone. Well the installer that worked here that stole us blind one night and left, ended up installing them , and a different shop here, who has badmouthed us, was printing them. The print shop is primarily a marijuana and vape shop, go figure. And Travis, our former employee is a pot head. Between those 2 shops, guy got a bad install or something and came back over here. We did one install for him, and he brought the truck from Travis and compared. Hands down ours was best. He just dropped off a Hummer H2 for us to peel the old wrap off of and print and install a new one. I'm calling that a win for the week.

Good evening, it was perfectly beautiful here yesterday and unbeknownst to me I was scheduled to go with Arron to get my taxes done. Ugh. Sat around after. Up and at a doc office at 8am, then another to set up a consult then another to inquire about soemthing else, then 45 mins later in the next town at my friend's retro shop. Were trying to figure out what she owes me for the last 2 months plus we traded for a couple of things and I picked up one item today. I dropped off four more to sell. And one large vase I had that i paid $50 for a year or two ago, went for $385 this past week. MCM glass has gone through the roof. Came home about 2 and it was nice again today and remarkably quiet out so I just held the lawn chair down till suppertime.

Good evening, I guess we got about 6" of rain yesterday, the pool was over full and spilling out this morning. He replaced the compensator on the Harley last night and finished today, after a run to the Harley store for oil , and signed up to win one and got a free bag with a cup and koozie in there. Knowing HD that's probably a $200 bag. ($2 elsewhere), they're kinda like Snapon with the prices of stuff.
I got around later and met the Vette crew next town over and we drove to the hills for a late lunch/early dinner. Bout an hour drive there and back. Beautiful day here, sunny and 63. You'd never know we had those storms last night. Arkansas weather is nuts. Two more severe storm chances the next 10 days. Sick of it. Tee I'd like to move out there, no rain sounds wonderful to me right now. We get any more of this trees will start falling over.

Good afternoon, overcast today but a high of 71 I'm told. I pulled some plants out of the house and put on the back patio, Arron will drag some out of the pool house at noon. Thus starts the outside spring cleaning. Have Vette stuff going all weeked, not sure I'll go to any of it, dinner cruise a couple hours away Saturday (when I need to work in the yard) and another run an hour away in the evening coupled with a 'photo shoot' night scene for everyone Sunday. Girl taking pics is a new club member (not professional photog) and she’s charging $25 each and will provide digitals to each person. Now, I have a sensitive question, club etiquette I guess? So far I plan to attend and get my picture too but did see an email about the $ for it and low interest due to it. I'm mixed. Most of us do in kind stuff for other members when we can, or discounts. I like to support someone’ side hustle as I like my own supported too. And, I did this same thing for a bunch of us while on a fall trip. I took my good camera, took everyone’s photo with their car at that park, (look up Maplewood Cemetery Arkansas), retouched images, adjusted, sent digitals and gave prints to everyone 8x10. No fee. I saw it as a way to contribute to my fellow members. But, it wasn’t my side hustle and I could afford it. I have no issues paying her as I know what it entails and she’s not near as well off as some others are. However, I did see an email in the thread today that someone thought it was tacky. What are y’all thoughts? I kinda want to speak up then I also feel I need to keep my head down, and not start mess, go get my picture took (if we are able to go), pay her and go on about my own business .

good afternoon, raining again here too. We're beyond tired of it. if the city would clean the ditches out so water would drain off property it would help a lot. But cold and rain, we've just had enough, period. Got the doc visit out of the way before work, he looked over my hip that I still have issues with and reviewed my MRI and is sending me back to therapy. he's curious why my hip surgeon can't seem to figure it all out since that guy is an orthdo doc. I feel the same.
Stomach bug was just a 24 hour thing, he says I'm lucky that's all of i had to deal with, says most folks is 3 days or so and you're still a bit weak a few days later. I'm not 1005 but way better.

Got out today, went by the bank then store, then another store, then of course passed a nursery and poked around. Only grabbed 4 black petunias, they're hard to get here. Priced a tree I might need if the one out front dies, mature poodle ball something or another. a baby one is $200 I can't imagine what mine would cost. Thinking 7 of the 10 dwarf laurels will make it, 3 are a probably not. They're $$$ so I'm not interested in spending that kind of money to replace them. I'd rather jerk them all up and surround the pool with azaleas heck with it.

I have good credit and mine was ridiculous on the Rover, and a friend just ordered and took delivery of a new Ranger and his was stupid high too, and he also has excellent credit. I can't imagine what bad credit would get you , a 25% rate? Nuts. The government claims they want to improve economy but they've forced price gouging on us to the point we can't afford to pay cash for things and can't afford to finance them either. They only want people to have what's given to them in the form of handouts.

Visited hip doctor yesterday, I will be referred to a hip surgeon for replacement, but he said he doesn't know what to do about the rest. Says scans look fine but he understands I have pain, swelling and such related to muscles and tendons . Weird I thought I was at an ORTHO place??? Go figure. I can't keep going like this somebody has to fix me. Sooner the better. Got our room booked for the Vette plant tour in June. I asked him to book it, he sat on his hind end, so by the time I took it upon myself to do it today, of course the cheap rooms are all gone. now my gas/food money will go toward a room. Men , ugh

Good morning, the sun is out here but we have freeze warnings for the next three days, just as flowers and plants were starting to sprout. Im wondering if winter will ever stop. Seems like it's longer each year. Used to, March was spring.
I need to run to my friends retro shop and settle up with her, she's had surgery and been behind, and I need to get paid. I also have shipping boxes and foam for her to use, then I have doc appt at 230, a last minute scheduling. I'd rather be home sitting outside for a break in the sun but this is more important. Good morning. Prayers for all of you Tee, this is a hard spot to be in.
Overcast here and cold. House cleaning on tap but prob not happening. I just now got up. I can't remember the last time I slept this late and could have still slept. I've got a suspicion what's up with me, every person, house and pet that I've had to take car of I just lost (house sold January), then shot in hip to relive inflammation. All that reduces my stress cortisol level and I feel like emotionally I guess I'm bottoming out or something getting back where I need to be. Of course my doc has me on hrt and I felt awful so I backed off that as I feel I dont need as much now and I think it helped. I'm a bit stressed about upcoming taxes but that's about it. No hospitals, no Medicare paperwork, no worry about a house that will get broken into, no middle of the night phone calls, no being up in the middle of the night for stuff. It's a relief but one heck of an adjustment.
I might start purging the house today, need to haul some stuff to donation anyway. In other news, tickets are bought and we tour the Vette plan june 8, 22 cars going.

Good morning. Very sorry to hear about the FIL Tee, very tough spot. I'm not sure the rules and regs of where they are going to place him but don't sigh the arbitration agreememnt, and make sure they list all family as "compassionate caregivers" in the event of covid-style lockdowns again. This is state law here now thanks to our advocacy group but it's not federal yet, your state may be different. We're trying to get it federal.
Gloomy out this morning, I woke up way too early for the time I went to bed . I need to turn this house upside down and shake the dust out and declutter and just ain't in the mood. This weather has me lazy and depressy. I need energy and sunshine. Whoever left their winter weather here needs to come get it.

Good evening, was a beautiful day here, had eye doc appt and he put in something called 'plugs' in my tear ducts. Somehow they don't stop them up but rather keep the 'tear trough' along lower eyeline full and when you blink your 'tear film' is more like it should be. My eyes stay dry due to the computer work, this should help. will also help with allergies he says. How he maneuvered that tiny thing into there I have no idea. Felt real weird, too. Permanent ones in 2 weeks if this helps. Gym after then went to hip surgeon to see what their issue is with the follow up visit I'm supposed to have and no return calls all week when I've been calling them. This shot will wear off soon. Talked to his nurse I'm to be there Monday at 2:30 now. I told her either y'all get me tended to or I'll just go back to UAMS I have no issues either way. I just want fixed.

Good morning Gris, same here, raining and cold. I'm sick of it. Waiting on time to gripe about it being too hot. Hoping for a slow day up here today, got one approved yesterday and it's printed already, got another small job already approved early this morning so got that turned in soon as I got here, gonna make a few phone calls and see if I can get some others off their hind ends.
Also hate to see governments lift authority from police and such to allow increases in crime in some areas. Noticed that not long after Lightfoot was not re-elected in Chicago the police chief made a hasty exit as well. Whole world seems to be turning upside down. I guess I'm getting old to the new ways of the world. I try to be open minded, but some things just leave me scratching my head.
