Hang with the wife. Do more chores. Todays chores are all yard related. Clean,cut,trim,mow etc.. The weeds grow like crazy in the summer. Sweatin to the oldies. Is yardwork considered exercise?

On the short list;
91 Vert needs some paint chips fixed,head light motor, rusty brackets sanded and painted, weather stripping, heater/defroster repaired, the drivers door panel secured better, engine bay clean up, a good set of high temp plug wires, upgrade the radio, disconnect the secondary alarm and a trip to the dyno. 90 Coupe needs paint, moulding, weatherstriping, wheel refinishing, antenna repair, a/c controls cleaned, right front speaker, glovebox light fixture and bulb and the scratches buffed out of the front windsheild. That's enough to keep me busy and broke for a little while. :coocoo: P.S. This is a recurring list and is subject to change without notice.

I feel your pain. It is so difficult to find trained craftsmen today to do a good job. It's not that I don't want to pay a premium. When I do, I expect quality. Unfortunately, the lowest bidder mentality in this country has given us a generation of untrained buffoons impersonating craftsmen. What we get is a big disappointment. It will all work out in the end but at what cost. Maybe I'm a little over critical but that's been my experience here in South Florida. You can also hire an independent claims adjuster to act on your behalf in negotiating damages from the insurance companies. Of course they get a cut of the final settlement but no stone will be left unturned. Rarely does anything go smoothly for me. And when it does, I'm totally shocked.

So I dropped off the 91 to get a rear end alignment and the directional fixed. I took the bus home, got another car and ran some errands. I took a nice nap, then the phone rang. Your car is ready. So I walk to the bus stop, ride to the garage and go to pick it up. Total bill $64.25. I get into the car and go to leave and the directional is still whacked. What's up? You didn't fix the directional. Directional? I thought you said differential but everything there was fine. Got on the bus Gus, didn't need to discuss much. That's why I knew my bill was to good to be true. The car should be ready tomorrow.

I'm off for the next two weeks.........That's the good news. The bad news is my wife had major surgery and I'm at home playing nurse. She is recovering well and we go for the follow up tomorrow. I can't go out getting all dirty and stuff then come in and and change the gauze. So I'm cooking and cleaning and fixing stuff around the house. That way I can also hear her call......Honey !!!

I've always liked the C2 body styles and I know that they aren't making any more of them but why does somebody who has basically bastardized the entire car think they now have a diamond in the rough because it looks pretty and looks like it could be original. I can see paying mid thirties for a good example non matching number early model. I've seen prices where the sky (near 6 figures) is the limit. OK, now I'm going to take a seat and listen.
