Number 8 cylinder.
I was thinking about calling them they would probably replace the plugs but i don't think i would want them after seeing that plug it broke off clean down both sides like maybe a flaw in the casting of the porcelain.

The inside porcelain split off lengthwise so it was a pretty big piece it spit it out the exhaust the electrode and ground strap are fine ill take a picture of the plug today if i have time i think ill be going back to the Autolite Spark Plugs.

The machine shop showed me the heads that came off my engine that lost the head gasket on the cylinder that leaked the head had small peck marks all over it like i sucked something into that cylinder.

So I'm thinking what the hell could have gotten in there i went home setting at the work bench i say to myself maybe the spark plugs sure enough one half of a NGK iridium porcelain is missing probably because of the coolant in the cylinder.

Lucky for me the machine shop says the head is OK.

Well, I'm glad to see your block checked out okay, mine didn't. Pressure test showed a leak where the previous shop did the grinding to clear the stroker crank.

Now I'm searching for a welding shop in the Dallas area . . . Anyone have a recommendation?
Jake
Sorry to hear that your block leaked ill sell you my old block for cheap but the shipping will probably kill you from Calif to Texas.

I lowered my 93 about 1 inch sanded down the front rubbers and cut the same amount off the aluminum blocks with the longer bolts in the rear.
It handles about the same as stock but it looks a hell of a lot better but I'm also using all stock suspension parts + fx3 select a ride shocks.
I do have to pay attention to steep driveway's and speed bumps or ill drag my glass packs and those dam cement wheel stops they hit my front skid plate.
I'm glad i only dropped it 1 inch.

I remember reading on another forum a guy had a similar problem i believe he changed out the hole pump neck and it fixed his problem but i cant remember what had failed on the neck.
It might have bean the wires going to the pump.
Have you changed the relay.

I agree with the brake lines that's probably the most common one and the caliper piston seizing is another ill bet it your master cylinder or rod length Ive used a small dab of grease on the end of the rod.
Bolt the master up take it off and see if the grease is the same as it was when you put it on there adjust the rod dab of grease bolt it up keep repeating this until you see the lest amount of change in the grease.
That's the way to get it closest to perfect.

On the GM filters Ive cut open they looked fine when they wear wet with fuel but once they dried out they all had a fine lite brown powder on them and it wasn't coming from my tank its rust and dirt free.
So its coming from the gas station tanks the trucks and the refinery maybe your pump is a little weak with a new filter no restriction it works good but with a little restriction it falls on its face.
Did your car do the same thing with all three pumps or only this last one.
I'm running one of these GM efi filters on a efi 460 i have and it plugs up fast on that thing i made the mistake of buying a fram that filter came apart inside and killed my engine instantly I'm thinking of going to a bigger filter on the ford.
You might be able to pop rivet the baffle on with stainless rivets use an air drill please.

OK guys I'm thinking of picking up a used Lt1 94 corvette short block with 80.000 miles on it for a couple hundred to rebuild for my 93.
The guy selling it says it overheated when one of the heads cracked i don't have any experience rebuilding the Lt1 blocks do the Lt1 blocks have any problems with cracking like the standard 350 Ive Sean a few of those cracked.
Just wondering if i should steer clear of this engine thanks guys.

I forgot to say it was doing the same thing with the old injectors it weird sometimes it runs good for 10 miles or so then it runs like crap and it runs pretty good on the freeway at 65 mpa.

I was thinking ECM also with no luck finding one some guy on eBay sold one for $270.00 but he wouldn't say if it was a good one or not i hate to pay that kind of money not knowing.

Thank guys ill take a look at the ECM plugs the wiring looks good maybe i will pull the plastic shielding off and look in there is bank 2 the passenger side thanks.

My 93 is running bad with no codes new a/c distributor new a/c spark plug wires and iridium plugs rebuilt IFC bosh 3 injectors.
When i run my snap on scanner and compare my scan values to the FSM typical scan values everything looks good except it says [ bank 2 inj. fault no/yes and its a yes.
So it says refer to section C2 witch is fuel metering system with 10 pages with nothing referring to bank 2 inj fault hopefully one of you Gurus have come across this problem before.
Anny help or advice is appreciated thanks guys.

If you completely drain your system of antifreeze leave the radiator drain open add a cup of simple green in the pressure tank fill it with tap water. Start it and let it idle with the tap watter hose just running enough to compensate fore the watter draining out of the radiator it will clean your hole system out.

Ive cleaned out quit a few system this way.

I'm running KYB for about a month now installed them as temps while my bilsteins are being rebuilt. Hell i haven't even sent the bilsteins in yet

They are comparable to my fx3 on the race setting maybe a little stiffer they well definitely rattle your fillings out on a bad road.
