Had to pay over 5k in advance for Sue's copay on her surgery on Thursday. That was the 10% deductible. I'll be glad when September rolls around and Sue gets on Medicare. Then he copays will be zero after secondary insurance. Well at least it goes toward the medical deduction for taxes next year. Speaking of deductions, you can now win up to 2k on the slot machines before they 1099 you. Hope I can hit a few of those this year. So far this year we've been running close to even with Sue winning and me losing. They offer us a free lunch buffet up to two times a week. Nice perk. Also free rooms, free play every visit and Sue can get table betting money once a week on Tues, Thurs and Sat. We also get points so we get free cartons of smokes about once a month. Anything they can do to get our into a chair. Most of the cars and trucks are running good. The mule just got a new brake line and a cooling system repair. The boat is still in the shop. Sue's 911 is also getting some work done. New plugs and wires and fuel pump relay. We do what we can to put food on the mechanics tables. Enough outa me. Seeya

sunshine but not in the mid 70's like yesterday.... I am waiting for the perfect day to put the top down on the CUZ.... that will be fun..... this is the first ragtop I have had since my first 65 Vette.... back in 1969.... I would love hitting the road out in Western Neb headed east to the Star City to party.. it would be late on a warm night on the Interstate rolling 85 or so with the top down and KOMA blasting on the AM one speaker radio..... the sound of the twin Thrush glass packs thrumming away adding its small block notes to the music.... a million stars up above... I kinda want to do that again....

sorry.... got all retro on you there... hopefully you all have the same kind of early Corvette memories....

get retro Guru's

My first Vette was in 2002. I had trucks and custom vans. In Germany I had a Capri GT. Fun car for the hills and curves. Before that in the 1960's I a 66 T-Bird and 63 Galxie XL 4 speed. No convertibles till 2005 with Sue's 911. A year later the 91 Vette drop top.

Could've drove my Vette last couple days except after plowing, there's giant snow piles all over and those make mud and puddles. Also, some brainiack with the city plowed over by Walmart and left a huge pile in the right turn lane. Some poor dude Luke Duked it the other day.
I miss my vert too, and if I ever get another, that's what I'll get. Targa tops ain't worth it. Got my first Vette when I was 25, it was a six year old '87 model, silver on top, black bottom, graphite interior.
