The guy I bought my C4 from will be there in his blue C5. They just found out the hotel were they had booked was up for auction due to foreclosure, but are still going. There should be several from the Midmocorvetteclub there. His plate reads BLU PIL, he told his wife he was getting a perscription to viagra or a new corvette. I got his old corvette.

Do you know what the hotel name thats going belly up cause I have a room booked down there and for all I know it could be them as well. I'm going to call to re-confirm.
Thanks.

Let us know how it goes. I really wanted to go this year and will even be at my folks house on Table Rock. Hmmm... maybe I can just slip away for a few hours....

Do you know the Wright's from Kimberling City? They may be down there in their 50th Ann Vert.

Man, I would love to drive down and check that out. I've never been down there but I've heard the show is great especially this time of year.

Hi Curtis & Andrew,
I'll take all kinds of pictures and try to post here. I've never posted any pics here but do have a account with photobucket. Would like to post a pic of my vert so any one going by my hotel and see's the car would be welcome to stop and chat for a while.
No andrew i dont know the wright family but do have some friends in kimberling city area and I have a little place past lampe mo.
I'm going to chicken out and wait for this severe storm front to pass thru tonight and tomorow then go down. I was thinking of trying to run the auto cross for fun. Never done one let alone seen one either.

What hotel will you be at? I've convinced the wife that a trip down there for a few hours is needed. The C4 will stay at home, but I'll bring a HD camera. If we meet up, I'll get you some very high resolution pictures that can be e mailed to you for posters or larger prints (21+ megapixel with HD sensor). I've printed a 36 X 48 before and it is crystal clear. Can also get an HD (1080i) movie of the car if you wish, but the sound quality is not good. Just let me know if interested.

Hi Curtis,
I read where it looks like you guys have some shows at the BPS and or is the Hooters show still having any shows for this next month. It may be possible that I could make a drive up there for a cruise in. This trip from springfield to eureka springs will be the longest I've taken in the vert and hope the car makes it to ES ok. I had a mechanic go thru it last week and give it a tune up and feel confident it will make the trip. So if it does ok on this trip then I might look into doing a trip up to your neck of the wood then shoot over to KC. This of course is based on my work schedule.
Greg.

Greg and Andrew, the only show left this year is at the Bass Pro store on the forth of Oct(This Sunday). However, the show is only for cars 1980 and older, but everyone who has a car that is later than that is still welcome to come up and enjoy the show they just can't put their cars in the show. My C3 won it's class last year. I would have loved to have gone to the Eureka Springs show but I just can't get out of town that long for the show. Maybe next year.

Andrew,
If you or your wife has never been to ES it will be worth it just to drive the roads and it should be a great day for a drive as well.
I'll be at the 1876 hotel. It's on the north side on the main drag just west of area where the vette show will be held. I think the show parking lot area is called pine mountian or pine hill or something like that. Theres a conaco station acorss the street on the south side of the road.
My convertible is light blue 1970 with old applaince wheels and spinners center caps and a black top with black interior.
I'll be the big ugly guy standing next to it. LOL
That picture taking sounds good.
I tried to install a pic in the avatar section this morning but didnt take.
I will try to install a pic just in the thread thru photobucket.
Any tips would be helpfull.

My wife and I went to ES for our 1st anniversary. I remember thinking "I wish I had a motorcycle or a sports car." It was very nice there.

Thank you for the compliment but the paint job is a 20 footer or at least 14.5 feet. It's ok for the time being.
Again having a blast rebuilding the cars.
