VtVette Front and Rear Tie Rod's the same?

I've been looking around for a replacement rear tie rod end (toe link) for my '93. Came across this on Corvette Central's website: "TIE ROD END - OUTER FRONT OR REAR - 2 REQUIRED". Makes it sound like the front and rear's are the same. Is this correct? My car's not here so I can't even do a quick visual. If anyone can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it thanks.

Also, where are Guru's buying parts online these days? I need rear toe links and a pair of horns for my '93.

Thanks!

As far as I can tell from the moog part number on Rock Auto the outer tie rods are the same:

MOOG Part # ES2908RL More Info
Frt Strg; Outer
Rr Susp; Outer

When I had to replace my horn, I just got one from napa and spliced it in. If I had to do it over again, I'd get one of these wolo horns:

If it was me, I would get the Banski kit.

Otherwise, www.rockauto.com. We have a discount code over in Corvette Chat.

Yes, for '93 they are the same.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm contemplating the Banski kit right now. The car will go up for winter storage soon so I am not in a big rush. While the Banski kit is overkill for my street driven car a good pair of Moog tie rod's are at least $60/$70 each and although only one is bad I will replace both as I have to re-toe the car at the same time.

Manchester, NH - I'm up in Colchester, VT. You're only a few hours from me! And it seems nothing is ever "only a few hours" from me!

sounds like you are a candidate for the GP!!!!

I have my kit... its just not installed yet (I ordered before the GP). I went the distance and ordered the entire thing. After 171k miles, I didn't want to mess around with the old rubber bushings; and all there creaking and binding and clunking.

More info later!!!
