Horsepower844182 Got my ALDL cable (now what?) Program suggestions?

So I got me a shiny new ALDL cable for my laptop/Vette and I got it working with some cheapo freeware program. So that's cool. But now since I know it works, what kind of programs are out there that will read the information this thing is putting out?

Can I make changes to certain things (such as rev limiter or fuel cutoff) or would I need something more sophisticated for that?

Thanks to anyone who's used anything like this.

You'll need to change the ECM chip to make these changes, and this will require chip burning hardware for your 92.

Yeah, that's the one everyone seems to use (and the only one I've gotten to work with my car so far).
Hella expensive though. <--Broke college kid

Looks like pretty slim pickings for most of our applications :sad7:
