3 more decent passes on the car tonight. Everything is holding together perfectly.

BTW the DA tonight was 1106 ft at it's best and 1222 ft at it's worst.

First pass was an easy warm up. I came in right off the street and after about 10min conversation with a friend that I haven't seen in a while, (THANKS for comming out tonight Rich) I went right to the starting line. Engine coolant was 198* comming out of the burnout box. Left from idle. For some reason the engine broke up (like an ignition miss) all the way thru 1st and 2nd gear then cleaned up and ran great in 3rd. I have no idea.

60ft--------1.997
330---------5.246
1/8th-------7.835
mph---------96.49

Second pass the car sat in the staging lanes while they ran the bikes and bracket cars, which long enough to cool down to 1858 comming out of the box. I slipped the clutch from 2500RPM and at the 60ft mark, then I put the hammer down hard.

60ft--------1.908
330---------4.984
1/8th-------7.512
mph---------98.22

Third pass I waited until they announced they were shutting the staging lanes. Coolant temp was 171* comming out of the burnout box. 3500RPM and I tried to give it some clutch right off the bat... Spun the tires but I was able to peddle a little and hook it up quickly. Seemed like the engine broke up again in low gear but I could tell it was pulling pretty hard.

60ft-------1.864
330--------4.957
1/8th------7.484
mph--------98.28

Afterwards we drove it about 10miles to a local car meet, hung out for a bit and since no one there wanted to loose any $$$, we then drove the 25miles home without incident.

I've got it on jackstands and all the UJoints look good from the quick go over I gave them. The posi is clicking right on 80lbs with everything hot. I'll have time Friday evening to really go over everything with a fine tooth comb. I'm going to put some new plugs in it Friday as well to see if that cures the ignition miss it's having intermittantly.

Video this week is the same old - nothing you guys haven't see before and it's getting kinda late. I'll get it up in a few days.

Hey Wil,

Really enjoyed getting to see you again!! You really got me wanting to get one of mine running soon. Let me just say, for those who have not seen your car run, to me, its most impressive from mid track position. After you get started down the track, that front end is raised, and rear is squated, and its moving fast. This wed. is probably going to be a rain out, but if not, I hope to see you there, and maybe pick your brain for some ideas.

Richard

FWIW IMO Wil's car is a mid 6 sec. car with a drag race drivetrain under it. That motor is fast!!

IMO, im not sure he stalled or boged. The tape is deceiving as to how fast Wil is moving after he gets out of the hole. I think part of it is due to the camera being zoomed in.
