Long time no hear guys! It's springtime here in the Northeast and it's time to dust off the project(s).

About a year ago, I finished up a big-bore 401cid project for my '93 C4. It's got somewhat of a baseline tune from TPIS. But, as we know, remote control tuning is very hit or miss.

I need someone locally to assist with logging the car. If you have the capability of burning proms also-- all the better!

If you're in/around the Philly area-- let me know. Thanks!

Long time??? 2+ years???

Great to see you back!

Tuners??? gee... Perhaps Vette Doctors or East Coast Supercharging; both are in NJ.

mseven is a remote tuner, but does exceptional work.

Any other ideas?

Still no-thing. ECS is C5+ only. And, the VD's are too far away and too contagious for me.

Anyone know anyone near Philly that has their own chip burning/tuning setup for the 92-93 C4's ?

Check with John Porter (rex ruby), he might know someone.

Also, once the car show season starts, I would head to the nearest show/shine and ask about.

I have a couple feelers out through my NCCC Network. They are pretty thick up in the neck of the woods and should be able to give us some kind of hint of a tuner near Philly.

I'd suggest Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg, MD, but that would be about 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Philly.

Here is a link
http://www.tonyscorvetteshop.com/index.aspx

I know the guy that does the tuning and he has been doing them for years. His name is Keith. On the C4 he will weld in another bung for a wide band sensor and do the dyno tune the way it should be done. They are in an old Maryland Emissions Garage and have a great Dyno setup.

Ok -- I got one response back so far... Might give this a shot.

Try Phoenix Performance, Phoenixville, Pa., Ph: 610-933-8938. They are just outside Philadelphia.

I had another friend call me last night while I was on the road and he saw my request for a tuner in the Philly area and I already forgot who it was... crap! I'll find out tonight and repost it here.

The guys at Phoenix are big time Corvette racecar builders. They are known for very high quality work.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. The car already has wideband onboard. I use Zeitronix because it is easily move from car to car.

Unfortunately, Phoenix is a c 5 + Shop. C 4 tuning seems to be the hardest thing of the past. Someone is out there somewhere and I will call a couple references that you guys have listed- My preference of course, Is to do this as close as possible to home. Things are always changing on the car from year to year- So I either need to learn it myself or find someone that is local.

Then I fall back to my original suggestion. Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg, MD will do C4 with wide band.

you might have to fly someone in and rent a dyno.

You may also want to talk to mseven. He seems to have a handle on the tunes for these cars.
