Some of the questions are seriously biased, others are very legit.

I don't know if I like the dude holding the sign that goes with your prior answer. Seems to marginalize the complexity of the issues.

However, gun control, to me, is summed up by this list if random thoughts:

* Use both hands
* Enforce the laws we have, and get rid of the redundant ones
* Making it harder for honest people to buy guns does not keep them from bad guys
* Carry laws have proven to be effective in stopping muggings and other such crimes
* Registration isn't an answer, its a problem
* Limiting ammo is crap. If they want to stop gun crimes, outlaw 9mm, that'll do it! Only joking. But it is the top round used by criminals. Yet it is the most commonly available

baha. I voted and I support them. I also joined the 2nd ammendmant task force and am on way to the EP lifemember. They seem like a good group and have answered alot of quiestions for me. If it's for the 2nd ammendment I am all for it.

I get to pick up my ruger .45 long colt tuesday. I am pretty excited about it. It's single action but it's in mint condition.

TAG Polls are going to be biased because of its nature and those that will take the time to read them.
TAG polls generate interest and spread information to the Pro-Gun community.

TAG polls give the NRA and other Pro-Gun lobbists the info to take on anti-gun zelots like those trying to boycott Starbucks.

It's like this;

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
A Democrat demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A Democrat will delete it because he's "offended".

I gotta tell you guys, after reading the responses before mine, I don't know what to think and now I don't want to take the poll.
Sorry.

Thats fine Bob.
But why bother us with your decision?
I mean if you had given a reasonable point, then maybe your decision would be worthy of discussion?

I think you may be right from a time past, but today, the viscous nature of politics has made it so both are trying to beat the other to the "deny rights and freedoms" club.

Good, it always brings out the best of us.....

What I see these days is that the conservatives have been fighting back with the same tactics as liberals have used for years. And since libs can't keep their mouths shut and just walk away, they have been raising the bar. Which in past days would cause conservatives to walk away. But this is no longer acceptable and the bar keeps going up. UNFORTUNATELY, the libs will resort to violence as we have seen with the occupy movement. In other words "If I can't get my way, I'll burn the house down"

I worry every day about the future of the country I love and fought for. Every military funeral I attend I wonder how this Vet would feel if he knew how his split blood is being spat upon. With the occupiers still active, and summer break around the corner I fear the cities will burn this summer.

I hope I'm wrong.
