Hello Guru's,
I know that I defected to the darkside but I know you guys are a great bunch who support our military so I figured that I would post this here in case any of you want to help. So far we've raised about $1000 all of which is going to the WWP.

Below is a link to the Wounded Warrior Project. The Carolina Regional Chapter of Mustangs Forums, which I’m a part of, is holding a fund raising event for the WWP. Our event is called Mustangs on the Mountain and is taking place at Deals Gap (AKA: The Dragon). You do not have to be a Mustang owner or even attend the event, but you can still help our wounded vets. We all know and understand that times are tough, but we at least have our health. Let’s make life just a bit easier for those that make our life a lot better. There is no minimum or maximum, only what you can afford or would like to donate. Thank you for your time and please share this with all your friends. Talk to one and help hundreds.

Thank you!

Jeff

Yes, it is. We are also going to hold a raffle online and at the event, we've gotten great support from the Mustang vendors.

This is going pretty well, we've got $925 towards our goal of $1500.

One of the guys created a website for the event too.

Well, we had 52 Mustangs in attendance and we raised $4000 for the cause. I'd call that a success.

way to go. any tips you can think of passing around for others looking to do fundraisers. My friend is organizing a poker run, with raffles for a pair of log end tables, and leather jacket.

Thanks Tommy. I hope things are going well for you. I haven't been following the daily chats much but I see you're still active in the HCF posts.

This was the first one for our group too. I think that having a cause you really believe in helped all of us remain focused and get it done.

Tips-
Figure out the best way to get the word out. We spent so much time and energy posting on as many Mustang forums and sites as we could and it didn't get us as much feedback as we thought it would so focus on quality over quantity in that aspect.

Never think that you are prepared enough.
