Only thing on the dash in your car related to the ECM is the fuel mileage and range readout.
Everything else comes from independent sources ,tacho from the coil, gauges from their sender units ,
speedo from the VSS in the trans ,etc

thats awesome that means checking wires which i dont mind.
you see the you see the previous owner burnt up the crossfire injected motor so he replaced it with an old school 350 from a 70's sierra he also put a Rochester 750 Quadrajet and camel heads sadly he put a three speed transmission instead of 4 I'm not sure but I'm willing to bet that there wasn't enough room he also f***** up a lot of the wiring so when I got it nothing electronic work I spend my weekends testing wires and looking for schematics I got 90 percent of electronics working again on the vehicle excluding the digital dash cigarette lighter in the air conditioning and heating

Yes, when I installed my FAST XFI, I only lost instant mileage and MPG

Dash is powered, essentially by the wires coming from the starter

Do you have the factory wiring diagrams? If not you're going to be pulling your hair out for years.

I have them, not sure the best way to get them to you. Do you have dropbox or usendit?
