One of the any things I'm planning for my vette is an el-cheaply rebuild on the engine. I'm hoping to make my own torque plate to use while honing but I can't seem to find the dimensions showing all the hole locations so it can be made accurately. Anyone here know of a site that shows these prints/ diagrams?

Could you just use a headgasket as a template.

I've often thought of doing just that, but the toolmaker in me wants to be more exacting. Mostly because once the piece is made I don't enjoy having to, "adjust," the holes for any mis- measurement from the transfer process. If left with no other choice, I'll transfer and go from there, but I'd rather do it from a set of prints. Besides with prints, I can set it up on a CNC mill and let it rip!

You may use a cylinder head as a template too.
